For part of one of our practical lessons, we explored with Mr Nicole the key concepts of a music video. This was helpful for me because now I know exactly what I need to think about and to take into consideration whilst creating my video.
The type of things we could be representing in our video is; Gender, Sexuality, Age & Wealth.
What are your key features represented as? This can include; Settings & Characters etc.
How are they represented this way? This can include Mis en scene, costume, make up, props, lighting, setting, sound and music.
What will be the Audience reaction and what do you want them to feel. What is the target audience? Why does it appeal to the target audience?
Genre of the music and song. Is the representation reconisable? Is it a stereotype? Have we challenged to typical steroytype?
