Luke - Busted Evaluation - Production
After the pre production stage of the busted remake video, came the stage where we had to film the video. As the weather was nice on the first lesson of filming we decided to get straight on with the exterior shots because it could never be guarenteed that the weather would be decent on the next lesson. We each took our own 10 seconds to direct and then whoever wasn't in the shot, in this case it was Becky, who was playing Miss Mickenzie, would film the shots. We filmed some of the shots more than once so we had more footage to edit because then we could make the continuity continuis throughout the video. From this stage of the process I learnt that when the weather is how it is needed in your video that you must take advantage of that because when you next come to film the shot the weather could be different and the coninuity of the video would suffer. I also learnt that if you are working with someone else, which I am, then you can also share the load of directing and filming and take it in turns so you each get the most you can out of both exercises.
